My Story
Born and raised in Colorado, I am a native! I initially majored in engineering just because I liked math and science, while pursuing my degree I began to understand that I really DID like engineering and how it can be used to help people all over the world! My relationship with the Lord began while I was in college in 1996 and almost immediately I began to have a heart for ministry. A professor told me about EMI and soon after graduation I began serving with EMI as an intern! My love and heart for this ministry has only grown as I volunteered on trips, hosted interns in my home, lead a prayer group for EMI, and developed close relationships with several staff members which led to a natural transition to joining staff in 2003.

Family
Single, but I have one very adorable niece! All my extended family is here in Colorado, as I'm a Colorado native.
Professional Training and Experience
I received my bachelors in Civil Engineering at Colorado State University in 1998, after completing an EMI internship in Colorado and India, I worked as a water resources engineer for 4-1/2 years. Soon after becoming professionally licensed, I joined staff here at EMI Colorado Springs.
Ministry Experience
All of my international travel has been with EMI, except for 1 trip to India with my local church. One thing about my travels is that while I was in Guatemala, a volcano erupted and my flight was delayed a few days where as the rest of team was able to fly out, I spent the extra time helping the gospel workers there out. A few short months later while in India there was an earthquake, I began to think that natural disasters followed me, gratefully I have not experienced any other natural disasters.
If God told me to live long term in a cross-cultural setting, the country I would chose...
India, I spent 3 months there as an EMI intern in 1999 and during my time there the Lord gave me a heart for the nation.
