Opportunity to Invest
Engineering Ministries International (EMI) is seeking sponsors for 62 projects per year for the next three years; a total of 186 projects. These projects range in type from hospitals, orphanages and schools to water lines, wastewater systems and storm water drainage projects. Each project goes through an extensive approval process to ensure that the services provided by EMI will improve the lives of the poorest of the poor.
The cost to underwrite each project averages $US 8,000. Once a project is underwritten, we can mobilize a team of design professionals. EMI recruits each team member to meet the unique design requirements for every project, thereby empowering volunteer professionals to use their skills to impact the lives of the poor. Each team produces a project report containing information required to understand the ministry and the architectural drawings required to construct the project. EMI teams make the ministry's vision a reality.
For each project underwritten at a cost of $US 8,000, EMI is able to give $US 80,000 to the organization being served. This 1 to 10 return on investment is accomplished by mobilizing the in-kind services of professional volunteers including the cost of their travel; additionally the EMI staff is self-supported through deputized fund raising. Add it all up and on average each underwritten project gives back $US 80,000.
Investors are invited to underwrite the cost of an EMI project, multiple projects, or any portion of a project. EMI multiplies your giving. EMI is a registered 501(c)3 organization and all gifts are tax deductible.
A) Partial Project Sponsor
Four sponsors at $US 2,000 = $US 8,000 for one project
B) Full Project Sponsorship
One Project = $US 8,000
C) All Projects
62 projects per year at $US 8,000 per project = $US 496,000
D) 3 Years All Projects
Three years at $US 496,000 / year = $US 1,488,000
It is EMI's goal to empower donors to participate in all or any portion of underwriting the cost of EMI projects. Full sponsorship for three years will allow EMI to function with efficiency (D above), taking profound steps towards the future: a future where EMI grows from six offices to ten offices. Having ten offices worldwide will double our capacity to serve. Thank you for considering this proposal.
