Original Project Scope
The Philosophy of the Westminster Theological College (WTC) is that, as a Christian Institution under the leadership of Christ, and through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, it affirms that persons should have the opportunity to develop their potentials; that education should stimulate a quest for truth and an understanding of life; that career preparation should emphasize ethical Christian principals. Most importantly a Christian perspective should help graduates become catalysts for a change in society.

WTC educates men with God’s call to the pastorate and to teaching ministry. It also provides a Christ based education for lay persons who will serve in the Christian community. WTC’s ultimate goal is “To make the Way of the Lord known on earth and His salvation among all nations”. Psalm 67:2
The Presbyterian Church of Uganda started in 1979 after the Tanzania Army ended Amin’s reign of terror. Starting as a small congregation its aim was to fulfill Christ’s mandate, “Go unto the whole world and preach the Gospel to every creature”. It was after carefully studying the Reformed Faith movement that Rev. Dr. Kefa Ssempangi founded this Ugandan Church. With the help of gospel workers, this non profit organization has to-date established 40+ churches and a number of fellowships that now need pastors and social and economic leaders.

As alluded to, church membership is out-growing newly educated pastors. The current theological campus is undersized for meeting the churches’ pastoral needs. Now WTC is teaming with eMi EA to design a 10 acre campus located in Entebbe, Uganda.

eMi East Africa will provide WTC with a site master plan showing the size and locations of proposed buildings, walk and roadways; working documents for either the Administration Building or any two of the other required buildings; a master utility design detailing size and location of water and wastewater systems; and fundraising documents including artistic renderings of the site and some major buildings and cost estimates.

Come to Uganda to use your skills to help WTC continue their growth and thus ultimately help to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ throughout Africa.
