Project Scope
Hesed Ministries was founded in 1997 by Michael and Florence Kyomya to act as a catalyst, support and resource for spiritual renewal, church growth, and development in the Busoga Diocese within the Church of Uganda. It is the desire of Hesed Ministries to “Deepen the roots of the church in Africa.” Hesed Ministries reaches out to the 2 million people in the 4,000 square mile area of Busoga Diocese, Uganda, which incorporates Jinja Town. Due to problems with various rental spaces, they do not have a permanent home from which to run the ministry. Likewise, each time they conduct training for pastors, they have to rent a space large enough to hold 100-250 pastors. Therefore Hesed Ministries purchased a piece of property and asked eMi EA to create a master plan for the site, including a training center, administration building, women's center, dining hall, dorms and guest house. eMi EA conducted project trip in June of 2005 to complete this work. Construction is currently planned to begin in October of 2005.
