GoodNews Theological College

eMi Project 8123
Original Project Scope
The Susamachar Seva Mandali (SSM) GoodNews Service Congregation ministry is focused on training Indian leaders and planting churches. The ministry, started in 1997, has training centers in four states in India , and almost 100 house churches and social projects in seven provinces of India , Nepal and Bhutan . The Susamachar Theological College and Seminary project is a large-scale campus design to facilitate the training of leaders in central India . The goal of this project is to expand the capabilities of the College, which presently functions out of a rented building in Bhopal with a program limited to 30 students.
A 27-acre parcel of land, outside of the capital city of Bhopal will be the new location for the College. Samuel, the founder of the ministry, has invited eMi 2 .to assist in the design of a complete college campus, technical training center and retreat grounds. Our team will serve to survey the entire undeveloped site; prepare a long-range master plan; develop conceptual architecture plans for the classrooms, dormitories and dining hall; and develop conceptual designs for the water and wastewater services.
Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh, one of the most resistant states in all of India to the Good News. Although India claims to have religious freedom, laws have been passed in this state prohibiting the work of the ministries like SSM. Even so, the family of G-d here continues to press forward with courage and hope that the saving knowledge they have will be shared with their neighbors, changing lives. In order to help SSM achieve their vision and goals for training more people to be sent out to share the hope they have, eMi needs a team of volunteer architect(s), civil engineer(s) and surveyor to join our staff and interns in Bhopal this winter. Please prayerfully consider whether you will be part of our team.
