Project Scope

Little Flock Charity Trust is a US based group of people concerned with the life, hope and welfare of orphans and widows in India. The vision of the ministry is to bring the truth of the gospel to those children ands widows whose lives were devastated by disaster.

Following the tsunami in December 2004, the focus for the ministry was confirmed, with hundreds of local children immediately orphaned and women widowed and left homeless by the disaster. The Little Flock ministry has already begun construction on urgently needed short-term housing designed by an earlier EMI team in India.

The next EMI design team will focus on conceptual design for a combined Children's and Widows Home for those directly affected by the tsunami. Specific conceptual designs that are needed at this time are for faculty housing, conference hall/chapel, and a community center. We will also establish a long-term sustainable water and wastewater engineering plan for the master-planned site. The Little Flock ministry is serving the poor and needy ones in South India with a long term vision for complete restoration from the devastation created by the tsunami.

Please consider joining EMI2 this fall, south of Chennai as we work along side a ministry whose focus and efforts continue to bring disaster relief to those affected by the tsunami.
