Original Project Scope
ULICAF began in the year 2000 as an informal organization of Liberian refugees who had suffered first-hand the devastation of their country wrought by a 14-year civil war which left the nation without the most basic human needs. The war ended in 2005. Members and friends of ULICAF are eager for renewal and redemption of their homeland. Working with church leaders in Liberia, the goal of ULICAF is to respond to the four critical needs of Liberian churches:
- rebuilding the Liberian Church infrastructure
- church renewal, church planting, and evangelism
- training pastors and Christian leaders
- education of young adults
Friends of ULICAF contributed funds to purchase 20 acres of land in Ganta in inland Liberia to build Liberia International Christian College. The college will train young people to be teachers, pastors, and leaders. ULICAF requested EMI's assistance to prepare a master plan for the campus and to design a multi-purpose building for classrooms, administrative offices, and a library. The campus will also include a poultry project and gardens for faculty and students.
Will you be part of this effort to bring renewal and redemption to inland Liberia? Please consider supporting Liberia International Christian College as they train young people to be leaders in post-war Liberia.
