EMI Project 5424

Original Project Scope
Ker Borrom Bi, whiuch means “the Lord’s House” in the Wolof language, will provide a Christian home and refuge for underprivileged and orphaned children. This is the vision of a humble couple in Passy, Senegal, willing to use their own home to bring children off the streets.

This EMI project will create a new home and outreach center for an “extended family,” with separate dorm-style bedrooms for boys and girls, as well as for the host couple living among them as “parents.” The home will be an outreach center that will minister to the needs of underprivileged children, both physically and spiritually, and also reach into the local community to serve other poor families. Think of it as “Extreme Home Make-Over – Senegal style!”

EMI never despises small beginnings. It’s our privilege to come along side not only the “giants” of world ministry, but every little, humble, worker who has been inspired by God to serve the poor and establish a place for God to demonstrate his love for humanity, His treasured creation. Come help us turn this humble beginning into the beginning of something big in Senegal!
