Original Project Scope
Hope International Ministries (HIM) provides new hope for families and for orphans after many years of civil war in Liberia. Their long-range plans include building homes for struggling families, encouraging families to adopt war orphans, and teaching agricultural and vocational skills that will allow families to become self-sufficient. They also want to build schools and medical clinics in underdevoped part of Liberia. Their programs include Christian education classes and Bible studies that will help people to find a new dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ.

HIM purchased 50 acres of undeveloped land on Todee Road in Bensonville, Liberia. The property will be called Hope Village. Homes will be constructed for struggling Liberian families using locally-manufactured adobe bricks and locally-cut timber. In addition, a school will be built to provide a quality education for the children of Hope Village and for the children of Bensonville. A medical clinic will serve the community of Bensonville. HIM requested eMi’s help to survey the 50-acre property and to prepare a master plan for Hope Village.
