Project Scope
Christ’s Victory International Mission (CVIM) was founded in 1996 by David Dann (a Liberian national) and his wife Annette, and was launched in Liberia in April 1998 to minister to lost and hurting Liberians, and to empower Liberians to minister to their own people.
Liberia lived through a period of civil war for much of the 90’s, but now the country is seeking peace. Eighteen months ago 15,000 UN peacekeepers were sent there to restore peace and disarm the rebels. A lot of ministries are now helping in Liberia and businesses are returning to this nation. EMI sent the first team to serve CVIM in 1999, and a second one to follow up in 2001 ( Rex, lead this second team) . The orphanage designed by the second team is currently nearing the end of construction. The plans developed by the first team for a school and church ministry campus were shelved when property disputes prevented CVIM from moving forward with them.
Today it is time to revisit the need for a team to design a church and school campus. About 220 students are attending the Christ’s Victory International School System in Monrovia and the surrounding villages. With a new 3-1/2 acre site, the ministry would like EMI to redevelop ideas for this new ministry campus. The priority will be the design of a church building, with master planning and schematic design of the entire campus included in the scope of work.
