Original Project Scope
The purpose of His Love in Action Ministry is to provide biblically based primary and vocational education to deaf and hearing impaired children and youth, and to share the hope of the Gospel with students, their families and the surrounding community.
Founded by Carmen Linder, a Honduran national, the school is currently in its 15th year of operation and has met the needs of over 2000 children and youth. Many of the school graduates are viably employed throughout the capital city and many are also involved in church leadership reaching out to the deaf and hearing impaired community in Tegucigalpa.
With a new 4-1/2 acre rural site, the ministry can expand its programs to not only include day students but also students coming from other parts of Central America. They will continue to provide their free primary education and vocational training to students who come primarily from the poorest economic strata of society.
eMi team verified the existing boundary survey of the land, established topography, and developed a master plan for an entire boarding school campus. The first building design for this team was a classroom building so classes could begin.
